Did Maniac have anything to say? Or was he posting for postings' sake? Maniac, take Flagg's advice......stay away.....please. For once in a great while, the participants here are not trying to out liberal one another. Diane76 wore the mask of a moderate in the beginning, but the comfort of following wasw too much to obercome. The Ear couldn't think independently if his life was at stake. And the 'kids' play off one another and say silly things ONLY because they can.

ANNOUNCEMENT: This board is open to all.....moderates--wherever you are--are encouraged to visit.

>>By lv2read   (Sunday, 14 Oct 2007 18:07)

Don't make comments about me, you don't know me. I stopped posting because I became bored of your inability to take on board ANYONE'S point of view and of your inane repitition of points with no real point. Open your eyes and learn about the world around you, and then we'll talk. Until then, don't mention me on this board.

>>By Diane76   (Sunday, 14 Oct 2007 20:53)

Diane76...we ain't going to out liberal one another anymore here....sabe?? You had numerous opportunities to demonstrate objectivity but passed on them all.

>>By lv2read   (Monday, 15 Oct 2007 03:18)

Objectivity is a means to an end, not a principle to aspire to.

You know l2r, you probably could be more presumptious and big-headed when talking about the other posters... but it would take a lot of effort.

I think most of us consider ourselves moderate, that's still a problem for you because you yourself are so far from moderate.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 15 Oct 2007 18:29)

Tchock moderate??? Flagg you can't be serious. Diane 76 moderate?? The Brits understand (appreciate??) Lenin more than the Americans? Onlu BIAM, greenfyre and Ear would agree with that nonsense.

>>By lv2read   (Monday, 15 Oct 2007 21:19)

No, I said I think MOST BRITS probably know more about him than YOU.

Yes L, we are moderate. We're not communists. You're just so capitalist you can't see past moderate to the other end of the spectrum.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 15 Oct 2007 22:41)

Capitalism is the basis of the two greatest economies in the history of the world....yours and ours. What are you thinking? Are you taking something for granted?

>>By lv2read   (Tuesday, 16 Oct 2007 00:16)

Old ground. There are arguments against capitalism, especially in the extremes it's reached in the USA but I think you should look for them somewhere else. Just for a change.

>>By Flagg   (Tuesday, 16 Oct 2007 00:21)

Capitalism recognizes basic human differences. To wit:

Some are satisfied wuth very little.
Some work very, very hard.
Some are incredibly lazy.
The above aren't rewarded equally.
Hard to understand? Perhaps for a schoolboy....but not an adult.

>>By lv2read   (Tuesday, 16 Oct 2007 06:35)

That's not capitalism, that's the IDEA of capitalism. You've barricaded yourself in a fantasy world where that idea is the truth, but outside your head things are slightly different.

If you ever spoke to those "lazy" people you might have a change of heart, but you never will.

>>By Flagg   (Saturday, 20 Oct 2007 13:35)

People aren't rewarded for refusing work in America, and lazy people are outcasts here. We can all work harder, work faster...learn more, learn faster. This concept is overly complicated for a socialist. If the shoe fits.....

>>By lv2read   (Sunday, 21 Oct 2007 05:21)

If you ever spoke to those "lazy" people you might have a change of heart, but you never will.

>>By Flagg   (Sunday, 21 Oct 2007 22:05)

You're surprised that lazy people exist?? Oh to be a school-boy again.

>>By lv2read   (Saturday, 27 Oct 2007 11:52)

Might as well be talking another language. Fuckin moron.

>>By Flagg   (Saturday, 27 Oct 2007 19:44)

And I should call you the same thing? You and Tchock are a piece of work.

What is the voting age in the UK?

>>By lv2read   (Sunday, 28 Oct 2007 06:02)

If you want, I honestly don't care. But if you're going to, do it properly. Don't phrase it as a question or try and make yourself sound intelligent. We're past that.

The voting age is 18.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 29 Oct 2007 18:34)

18? Big mistake....to think that truants participate in national decision, making. Throwbacks from the 80's, as in Ear, and others like him are bad enough. Rage you say....ypu don't know rage, or futility or any adult concerns. You are a spoiled working class brat. Me a moron.....you'll say anything.

>>By lv2read   (Monday, 29 Oct 2007 21:20)

I will, I'll say absolutely anything.

So what *should* the voting age be? 21? 25? 63? When's the magic age?

>>By Flagg   (Tuesday, 30 Oct 2007 10:24)

Oh I don't think lv2read would complain too much if we regressed back into 18th century *Democracy*. Landowners only - NO RIFF-RAFF !!

>>By Tchock   (Tuesday, 30 Oct 2007 10:41)

do you mean to regress to our British roots?? Where is Diane76 now? I'd like to see your moderate side.

>>By lv2read   (Tuesday, 6 Nov 2007 20:04)

She's probably off doing something worthwhile with her time.

>>By Flagg   (Wednesday, 7 Nov 2007 11:37)

Ninety Years to the Day.......

What did you think I meant, lv2read?

I would imagine Diane's getting on with her life........

>>By Tchock   (Wednesday, 7 Nov 2007 23:06)

My God, I can't believe this particular discussion is still going. One can safely assume that none of you have gotten laid since 2005.

>>By Hank Diddler   (Friday, 9 Nov 2007 01:44)

Yer mum.

This message board isn't exactly anyone's first priority you know. You're right though, it's gone on far too long. It's just too easy to keep coming back.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 12 Nov 2007 18:25)

Where are Deaf Ear, Maniac, the Kids, Yuppie76? Has Bush finally won you over? Am not the least surprised. According to Lynn, the continental shelf will be breached in 9-1/2 years....any bets?? I wonder if Tchock has a boyfriend with a car, if Flagg has ever driven on, if Maniac.....well, no chance here!!!

Happy holidays. Will have to straighten up the house...put up all the war toys and guns...company is coming. Time to shop, shop, shop.....but I won't be walking to the malls.

>>By lv2read   (Monday, 10 Dec 2007 19:03)

Merry Christmas lv2read. Did you know Santa Claus originally wore green?

>>By Flagg   (Tuesday, 11 Dec 2007 17:47)

So now according to US "intelligence" the Iranians stopped their nuclear weapons programme in 2003... what a surprize that will be to you Lv2bs! :)) I remind you I did tell you that repeatedly whilst you were advocating WWIII.....

>>By planet ear   (Wednesday, 12 Dec 2007 18:01)

Deaf Ear,
I know...you knew it all along. Of course British and American pressure to halt development had noth ing to do with their change in direction. And, you are bright?

>>By lv2read   (Thursday, 13 Dec 2007 19:36)

I said as much. It's here on record. My reasons and reasoning are also here on record . They stopped (acording to revised US "intelligence" opinion) in 2003 .... that'll be the self-same sources that told the world Saddam had WMDs and had to be stpped urgently....which as we have known for some time was a disgusting self-serving murderous fabrication.

To which you adding your disgusting bloodthirsty cowardly call for others to fight and kill and die.

>>By planet ear   (Thursday, 13 Dec 2007 23:54)

Deaf Ear,
So, Iran poses no threat...Iran is harmless?? Again, don't you think Bush and Blair's prodding played a role in their decision? Can you see the link?? And the other members of the UN Security Council.....almost forgot. Where were you?
