RE: 1996 CA. Mmm tricky one. I suppose you cannot argue with (although I hope S5 is released!) with the law once you've signed a legal binding document.
Totally different job I know, but a couple of years back a company I worked for decided to change our job description and roles. We had 90 days to sign a change of contract or leave - it's a s**t but what can you do? Personally, I got a good solicitor and received a decent pay off due to time served etc. So although I'm chomping at the bit to read S5, I can't see MC's argument standing up in court.
Just think though, all this controversy and publicity will mean that if it is published WOW! - multi-million best seller! I wish him luck.
Cris(sy), to answer your question re: other books, films etc. I read an interview with Andy McNab that a-i-b kindly posted here a while back, and he claims that MiraMax have bought the option to film all his books, and that CF would be first. Personally, I don't think Kelly will even feature, which will be a shame because the relationship between the two was one of the things that made Nick Stone appear 'human'
Casting: Sorry, that new bloke on EastEnders can't act! (personal opinion, don't shoot me down ;-) )

I think their testing the water with CF as the first movie ,as it probably has the best (mainstream) storyline,and also the terrorism factor.

How could it not be a prequel? It is a prequel if you start with CF! Uh-oh, wait a minute, or are you trying to trick me or sumfink? You must be 'cuz you're saying there's a terrorism factor -- but we all know that Osama and such are getting PC'd these days (a la Sum of All Fears), so it will probably end up being about a group of angry hamster lovers protesting on the White House lawn about the mistreatment and untimely demise of poor Freddie.*

I have just been browsing on ebay(again),and came across the book by AM's wife,Francis Nicholson.
The photos of AM in the book are the most revealing i have seen of him,you can more or less see what he looks like,big bushy moustache,quite a skinny face,medium height,,just quite plain looking really...is this old news? probably.

Yeah, the pics are very revealing, both his and hers (wink, wink). There are some other good ones, too. Since I doubt you'll be bidding on the book, though, I'll explain that AM's face is unusually thin in that photo with the baby because he had just returned to the UK two stone lighter and quite ill when that photo was taken.

I know, I know. The insurance company was the first example I could think of, basically what I meant to say is that though I feel sorry for Mike and I hope he gets his books published, we should see things in perspective. We, in a way, all have to deal with government measures we don’t like, or decisions from our company bosses we can’t get round too. How hard it may be for Mike and his family – there must be thousands of cases just as sad/bad.
