Hear-Hear, Ortlieb, on the B.A.B.E.S front. Shouldn't wonder if Carlton/Granada TV (one or other merged) will be knocking at the door. There's a shortage of spoof/comedy writers for TV, apparently. Surprised AM hasn't looked to that side of things as a knew line in Andy McNab T-shirts...

Julia, the saying "Never Judge a Book by its Cover" applies to CR - he has quite a reputation for bedroom romps and other, and everyone knows what he looks like - all a matter of personal taste.
Of course, judging AM's books has more to do with written content - the man revealed, or not as the case may be. He presents himself as an enigma, "Invisible Man" - the reality therefore might not be as hoped or expected, in all departments. Then again, the reality may make one feel inferior in the godly stakes!! - man or woman...

Well, I finally got DW. I've punched the book a number of times so far. I'd probably punch Nick if he were close enough or at least smack him in the back of the head. Silly ba****d! I have a couple more hours reading to go and needed to take a short break so I thought I'd read the further adventures of B.A.B.E.S. For some strange reason their adventures make me think of Hudson's line in Aliens, "Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen!" ;)

I have to confess this is mostly bikergirl but for explanation of first bit see Ryan's board!! And no, it's not a regular occurrance of mine ha ha......really it's not.
CR has finished debriefing Beth and bikergirl...
CR : "In future Beth I need you to stop droppin' your knickers in front of the lads on Selection...you're putting their timings right off..."

Lynn ponders momentarily whether AIB has set up surveillance cameras here...what can she get away with? Distractedly she inflates another latex glove...
L : "If I cut the fingers off this glove we could put them to use you know" <wink>
AM : flapping..."You want Nick Stone?"
L : "I'd prefer you first...but I always have room for dessert"
AM : "No...I mean I'll give you Nick Stone in the next book"
L : "I'll be in the next book?"
Will Lynn be famous? Or will she just use the latex? And if so...which finger? Will Beth and bikergirl get there in time to use the others??

It's indeed not easy to get your questions through. I send about 15 up front, got one through though they were all excellent questions (haha) (The 'dedicated fan' that was me hehe) and later 1 being logged in (send at least 25). I was/am Lynnholland, since Lynn wasn't available either. (Didn't think of making it _lynn_ )
But F Troop had a total of 5, I believe so we didn't do bad. Now we're with more troopers.. let's make them nuts with our Q's :o)
It would be good to know which Q's were asked by INK though so we don't ask again. So Tom.... finished with the tape yet?
