Dr Love or Dr Sex, he's an Aussie so he'd be called both! Us Aussie males have such sweet, romantic ways to speak to our lovers -such as "Brace yourself Sheila" and "How can I love you when you won't lay down?"..... such poetry brings a tear to my eye.
>>By Paul R (Saturday, 25 Sep 2004 15:26)

Always a pleasure, Paul R!!!!

AIB - Thanks for your welcome
Yes, been reading the books in order, so far only read RC, CF & FW. I have LD but have resisted the temptation to read it until I get LL. 200+ pages here is an awful lot to catch up on but I started reading some of the earlier pages but had to stop as I started to read about the last couple of books. Unfortunatley I read the promo on DW & DB so I've spoiled that bit for myself.
If AM ever decides to use ghostwriters he need look no further than here for ideas or writers. Caroline's operation get booze & borisette's operation get home, brilliant. Can't wait to read the other books so I can see what else you've got here.
Whoever put up the post for weapons of mass destruction on google, thanks, I just about fell off my chair laughing & look at it when I need a good laugh.
PaulR "Brace yourself Sheila" and "How can I love you when you won't lay down?"
You sweet talker!!
>>By caryn (Monday, 27 Sep 2004 12:56)
Oh hey! haha - I forgot about that! (POmplemous and Caroline one and the same) haha - oh yes - operation disapproving mother!!
i forgot.
I know - how can any sane girl resist lines like that!!!
>>By Pomplemous (Monday, 27 Sep 2004 18:01)
"Last of the great romantic's, aren't you ?"
Sounds familiar ? It should but from what book ? Thought it was appropriate at this point in the convo.
Please carry on, it is very .. erm .. inlightning ?

After months of lying dorment, Liberation Day is now about to get my attention yet again as I shall get my hiney into bed and give those Mk1 eyeballs a workout. How 'bout that....
>>By ortlieb (Tuesday, 28 Sep 2004 00:30)
still havent read DArk Winter yet - you know how rubbish I am at keeping up with these things: finger on pulse? finger on something!
else.
haha - Liberation DAy though - I thought it was more like a tourist guide to Nice, BUT when I went to France in May (albeit not Nice) - it was just ol Andy baby described! I felt like I knew my way around! Except there was no dog poo so...
so the point in this little post is
>>By Pomplemous (Tuesday, 28 Sep 2004 11:12)
Andy baby probably has the baddies using their pooper scoopers in Nice so the poo smell doesn't add to the piss smell, must blend in not stand out!
Finally received LL today so won't have to resort to reading books out of order, should be able to read them before I go back to work, if I don't sleep much.
Lynn, is Dr Sex with you today?
au revoir
>>By caryn (Tuesday, 28 Sep 2004 12:31)

>>By Lynn (Tuesday, 28 Sep 2004 16:55)
ooh! someone else called me pompeltje before - curious!! maybe it was you and maybe I just looked at that message twice and thought I was having deja-vu!
I couldnt help it anyway - Dr Sex was tickling my feet under the desk - if Ihadnt said anything the inane giggles would have given us away!
mind you - the art of the double bluff - as some might know - no one will suspect you if you are laughing inanely and wriggling like a loony on your chair!!!!
gigglegigglegigglewrigglewrigglegiggle
Jeez, Dr Sex, some people just aint fussy!
>>By Pomplemous (Tuesday, 28 Sep 2004 21:42)

Sorry to interrupt the, ah, festivities, but I've some news to share: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wednesday, September 29, 2004 Hackers attack Al Qaeda-linked websites
Hackers have attacked a website of an Al Qaeda-linked group, that beheaded two US hostages in Iraq, re-routing visitors to a page showing a penguin toting a machine gun and warning against hosting such sites.
The site of the Tawhid and Jihad Group of Al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, set up on a site providing free web hosting, last week carried a tape of British hostage Kenneth Bigley appealing for his life as well as videos of the decapitation of the two US hostages.
"Host them and you're next!" was the message left on the site by the hackers, calling themselves TeAmZ USA, who have already attacked several Islamist and pro-Al Qaeda websites. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Three cheers for covert nerd ops! And, if you see a defaced Al Qaeda site signed, Tom Mancini...Remember the lad in your prayers. As you were.
>>By Just Jon (Wednesday, 29 Sep 2004 08:23)
At last! a worthwhile purpose for those troublesome hacker nerds, let's hope they concentrate on this instead of being a nuisance.
Thing is, why a penguin? Will your average A-rab know what one is? You don't see many in the desert I understand.
>>By camban (Wednesday, 29 Sep 2004 11:16)
a touch of the surreal never hurt anyone.
*reels from a whack in the chops from a giant pizza held by a giraffe with gloves on*
I stand corrected.

The mighty penguin is the mascot of Linux, the mighty OS.
