Vikram bring alive the quest of a young indian girl set in post colonial India of the fifties in "A Suitable Boy", with equal ease as he does the persuit for musical harmony in "An equal Music".
Remarkably different plots with certain depth which leave you enraptured.

I have just read The Golden Gate for a course I am taking. At first I thought, a novel in verse? But I find that I thouroughly enjoyed it. I am writing a paper on reader response to the book, so would anyone like to give their opinion?
