V.C ANDREWS WAS A GOOD AUTHOR WHY DID SHE HAVE DIE :'( . Andrew Niederman did good with Cutler series but the rest of his books are like the same thing. Girl is like in a bad home with out love, Raped by a brother or someone in there family, and finds out there not really in family there someone elses kid. its boring. think of something new for once. So far my favorite Series are the Cutler and Dollanganger cause thats all i read so far. I love the Dollanangers. I cryed when Cory died. He was so young. and i almost cryed for Carrie. Catherine and Chris married i see why that she did that but anyways its a good series

Peace
Josie

I have EVERY book since Flowers...I've read most of them twice. I am 1/2 way done with Twisted Roots, and look forward to the rest of the series. The miniseries were a little boring, But I think Niederman is doing a good job otherwise.

I recently got hooked on her books, and I'm reading the Dollanganger series now. I plan to read all the books by the ghostwriter too.

I think that VC Andrews is the best writer. She describes everything very well and it paints a good picture in my head when I read. I never really read until my friend let me read"My Sweet Audrina" which is my faveorit right now. Im on Gates of Paridise and I love it so far.

P.S Hi Rita!

I love v.c.'s books, BUT, why, in these rape scenes, are the girls so helpless, as in " i gave a tiny cry" or "i beat my tiny fists.." TINY TINY TINY!! It annoys me. I'd claw his eyes out. Tiny crfies my foot..... think this ghostwriter puts too many characters through horrendous rapes. It really annoys me, i must say.

I love V.. Andrews, her books are the best ever. She was truely one of the best writers in the world. I am glad her family or whoever is trying to continue her legacy. Word of advice from an upcoming writer, watch out for the little tiny mistakes, in the books,, make sure everything fits right, I just got done with Into the woods, it was excellent, but for some reason I had read the book dealing with Grace Montgomery and Linden already, and this book here was telling about grace being born and her parents and life, how she came to have Linden, the other book should have come after this one, I think it was Willow, and that is the first book in this series,, if I have it all backwards someone let me know

I love her work and have read every one of her books but I do not enjoy the mini series as much I feel that the full length series are much better, I love the Cutler, Casteel, De Beers and Dollanganger series the best! W

>>By Annie   (Thursday, 17 Jul 2003 05:34)

I have already wrote something about her, but thats alright! I think that she is a rerally great auther and my favorite set or seies is the Casteel series because it was the first one that I read. When I started the Cutler seires, I couldn't get that last series out of my head! I didn't even wanna take the books back to the store! I spent like a month just thinking about all that went on in that sereies! I am the #! fan of this author and no one eles will be but....me!!!! hahahaaa. loser!

P.S Hi Rita!.....again..... :-)

i love v.c. andrews. i have read every single book that she has written (except twisted roots) and have almost half of them. they sometimes make depressed though, b/c there is so much sadness to them. the first one that i read was dark angel and from there i was hooked.

V.C. Andrews is one of the best writers EVER, but the willow series r just plain BORING i mean i've been reading the book for a year and a half now and im only half way through, i just can't get through it, it's all kinda repeating, so 2 whoever is keeping her alive, get some new ideas!!!!
oh and k. sells, u dont really have it mixed up, the 5th or 4th (basically last) book in the series is always technically the first (the one talking about the grandmother or what happened a long time ago) but if u really think about it, whichever way u read it, they're both spoilers for the other book, so it's ur choice ^_^
and by the way, which series is midnight flight in?

>>By Cookie8Monster   (Sunday, 11 Apr 2004 01:48)

Midnight Flight is the second book after Robin, Teal, and Phoebe. It tells the story of where all three of those girls go. Ithink the one with those three is Broken Wings.

I'm re reading the Dollanganger series for the zillionth time. I can't ever get bored with it!

I think her best series is the Dollanganger series. Its the first series of books i ever got through. Her writing style is amazing and i have yet to find another author that can compare. I also loved the Landry series as well, but all the new series and mini series are just really boring, i agree there's just to much of the same thing. The only new book that i showed any interest in was Celeste, but even by the end of it i was still a bit dissapointed it dragged on to much =P but yeah i think the older books where the best ones of all.

>>By Shadow Angel   (Friday, 19 Nov 2004 16:23)

personally i loved celeste.
i thought it was awesome and i'm dying to read black cat
but u do have to take into consideration that the people that are wrting her books now are all professional writers and that their ideas are all clashing together trying to create the V.C. Andrew's feel...
