I love Terry Brooks novels. Ive read them since he first came out with the Shannara Books
in the 1970s . They are pure fantasy with some messages or metaphors in them for
the the way we react to the bad things in life, the shadows etc. and also I noticed in some
of the later books he is making an oblique reference to the ecology. Anyways, lol i love
them for being pure escapism - we can get involved with the characters and enjoy there
adventures---- very much like the Lord of the Rings-- all his books are about QUESTS
of some sort or another :)

Loved all his books, read all in order.
eagerly awaiting next one.
I like the fact that ecology and the mountains feature so high in his books , and the quests involved. I also like the fact that shades are consulted always to help with quests and also that the protagonist falls in love with someone.

I love Terry's novels. I have been reading his books for so long I can't remember which book I read first. He has never fail to entertain me. I also feel lucky to have an autograph book from when he was once here in my hometown for a book reading/signing.
