I have read the first chapter of the will of the empress and I have figured out why i didn't relate to the charachters as much in the first two quartets: we werent the same age. I couldnt relate to the chatachtes because they seem so much younger then me. In this next book they are either 14 or 16 (knowing my luck they are 15) and seeing as how that Is my age they are lots more relatable... especially since I hear there is some romance with briar.... *eyebrow raise*

i no it was kinda weird about that part but o well. i barely got the time to get it and its sooo cool, i found i've forgotten alot of stuff from the previous books tho. if only i could wrench them back from my frend again i could read hem again. but anyways, the will of the empress is awesome. ^^

I was sort of disappointed that it was Daja who was gay. I mean, how typical. Think of how much more interesting it would have been if it had been the delicate, ladylike Sandry. Of course it's the strong, powerful girl with the broad shoulders and muscular arms who is gay. I was a bit disappointed with that move, and expected better from a feminist such as Tamora Pierce.

I love The Immortals Series (thats the only one I have read so far) I am definetly getting all the other Tortall books this weekend as in: The Song of The Lioness, The Immortals series book 1, The Protector of the small and The Daughter of The Lioness. In The Immortals Series I love and always hoped for Daine and Numair getting together. I totally love Daine and Numair's romance I just can't stop thinking about it (thats why I mentioned it twice, sorry if that was annoying.)
