I met Sparkle in july(?) 1986 in Pakistan. She shared a jeep with me and 3 or 4 Italians. The jeep took us on the Karakoram Highway to the Pakistani-Chinese border. I went on into China. The Italians went back to Gilgit and I think Sparkle went to Karachi to write an article on Bhutto. I remembered her name but never read anything about her, until now.
