Sophie Kinsella is a "real" writer. She writes about the woman in all of us - the shopaholic. Both are truly the books that every sensitive, energetic, independent women with a shopping addition needs. The books are outstanding, vibrant, quick read. There is definitely a Rebecca Bloomwood in all of us. can't wait for a third novel.

I can't get enough of Sophie Kinsella! Hers books are so exciting. I got Shopaholic Takes Manhatten during my vacation in Florida and I couldn't put the book down!

I aboslutely LOVED all three shopaholic books! I live in the US and Shopaholic Ties the Knot isn't available here so i had to go to amazon.co.uk to order from Britain but it was definitely worth it! I'm crossing my fingers for a next book, but i read at www.uk-fusion.com/books/shopaholic_knot.html and it said that Ties the Knot was the last instalment...but then again you can't believe everything you read on the internet!so everyone keep your fingers crossed!

I finished reading the last shopaholic book last night. I was totally excited and laughed out loud alot too when I read them. By the time it came to reading the last page, I was so sad that I no more to read. i think I will read them again and again, especially if Im feeling down, cos they are the type of books all women can relate to (even though im not a shopaholic), and you are drawn into it, and you cant stop reading them. I read all three books within about three to four weeks which was fantastic for me cos usually it takes me six months to read a book, so go on girls get them read, and even the blokes may learn a thing or two!!...these books could be the next brigitte jones diary film but would probably turn out to be an even bigger and better film. I cant wait to see if there are any more books by sophie......thanks for making me smile!!

Confessions of a shopoholic is amazing! I never got into a book like this before! Recommended to females who adore shopping of any age!

>>By Shell   (Saturday, 25 Jan 2003 19:37)

I heard there will be the fourth shopaholic book... It's not yet published but I think you can already order it from the Internet and they'll send it to you when they get it from the publisher. I'm not sure, but I think at least Amazon is selling the fourth book already!

I actually read "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" first (called Shopaholic Abroad in the UK). I bought it in Logan Airport (Boston) before returning to school in UK...I loved that book so much that I immediately bought the first one, and since I'm back in the US now I'm dying to read the third! I've read each book (well, the first 2) over 50 times each...they are a staple in my life...like a feel good movie but so much better! Sophie Kinsella is an amazing writer, her characters are realistic and entertaining. Who doesn't want to trade (Prada) shoes with Becky, at least for a day?!

I've only read her first book, The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic and I positively loved it ! It's so real and kind of connects with us girls.Happens to our everyday lives too.i mean like, what kind of person / woman who doesn't go for clothes that have a 50% sale ? I definately plan to read this others.Actually, I got hooked on by a fantastic book reviewer. Now that I've read the book, I can truly say that it is a really amazing book.I LOVED IT ! Do you know that it takes me at least 2 weeks to read a book, but I finished this one in 2 days !

I just found out that on 3rd march 2003 in England it will be sell the new book from Sophie Kinsella called "Can you keep a secret?". Unfortunately the character is not Becky but a girl called Emma. I'm sure it will be a great book, but I really hope Sophie will give us a fourth book from "Shopaholic". It would't be a bad idea if someone would make a film about it....What do you think?

Greatings from Italy!

I love Sophie Kinsella's books, they are awesome. I love how she writes...it's like she's writing to herself in a diary and I think that is so cute. I simply adore her stories. I bought "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and " Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" yesterday at Barnes and Noble and I am halfway through "Confessions..." and I love it! I am a shopaholic myself, so I can relate but I'm not as bad as Becky!
I urge everyone to buy these lighthearted books, they are funny and also a lot of people can relate to them! I love them!!!
