Silverstein is one of the great american poets. With an unlimited imagination and a fun-loving way with words, he inspires children around the country.

My favorite Shel Silverstein poem of all time:
We gave you a chance
To water the plants.
We didn't mean THAT way,
Now zip up your pants!
