Sarah Dessen

Forum

Sarah Dessen is my favorite author! She writes books about things that I like
to read about. My favorite by far is Someone Like You. This is my favorite
book and I hope that someday Sarah Dessen will write a sequal to it. Keep up the
good work, Sarah!

I just finished reading Dreamland.....that is one of the saddest books I have ever read. Her books feed off of real emotions and its absolutely amazing. I almost felt sorry for the bad guy...because at the beginning he was like her amazing escape..and he had a lot of problems. I dont want to give away anything if anyone hasnt read it..but he did have problems. The book left me a little sad for days after I read it. At least it ended hopeful though.

That's something I like about Dessen, she writes her stories so that there is no good guy or bad guy. Her stories are very emotional and with every book I read of hers, I escape into another world. I've come to understand different points of view in life. Keeping The Moon is my favorite book of hers so far. THe only other books I've read by her are Dreamland and Someone Like You but I look forward to reading more.

i have read all of sarah dessen's books and i LOVE them. i havent yet read the truth about forever, but i just got some money from babysitting, and since i just heard about it tonight by reading this website (i dont know how it took me this long), i plan on heading out to get it tomorrow. each time i finish one of her books, the next time i talk to my best friend i immediately tell her about the great book i just read. and then she reads it and then we talk about it. haha nerdy, i know. but anyways, my favorite would have to be this lulliby, though keeping the moon was a close second.

I love Sarah Dessen, her books are great. My favourite one has to be "Dreamland" - I can relate to the pressures put on Cass, the older sister, that are briefly mentioned in the book. "This Lullaby" is great as well.
