Richelle Mead is a brilliant writer in the Paranormal Romance genre, who is able to make the transition between writing exciting Teen Paranormal/YA Fantasy and highly developed adult Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy.
The teen paranormal series "Vampire Academy" launched her into the mainstream arena, but her first series was (and is still ongoing) an adult Paranormal Romance series called "Georgina Kincaid", and is a great read for any fans of the genre.
She really knows how to write a story that flows, and proves this in every book. There is enough diversity in her writing to allow most people to find something to enjoy in at least one of her books.
