Hi, I also love all of Paulina's books ecspecially The Bronze Horseman. As all of you may know The Bridge to Holy Cross has been taken of the market to be reprinted and has a new title of Tatiania and Alexander which will be out at the start of 2004. And i am pretty sure that is only in Australia. She als has a new book coming out at the same time called The Crying Room.
If anyone would like to discuss these books or any others my email is tsyoung27@hotmail!!!!

Well it would seem I am coming into this discussion quite late, but that is nothing new for me. Anyway I think this book was life changing to me. I can honestly say i have never felt this passionate about a book ever and I read alot. As for the next book which I guess you have all read by now "The Bridge to Holy Cross", Well where do I start. It again was life altering and I have just started reading it for the second time.

I purchased "The Bronze Horseman" based on the reviews here and I have to say I was disappointed. I gave up on it half way through, the book just wasn't going any where. I mean, I know in the end Tatiana and Alex get together, but Tatiana was just too "whiny" for me. I normally don't give up on books, but this one I just couldn't do it! Maybe some day I'll pick it up again and read the 2 sequels because I really do enjoy trilogies. I see no one has posted here in 3 years about her books.

I think THE BRONZE HORSEMAN, TATIANA AND ALEXANDER and THE SUMMER GARDEN are the best three books I have read in a long long time. I really connected with Alexander and Tatiana and I couldn't put these books down. If you have trouble reading the first one, keep at it because it is definitely worth it. Paullina Simons is a fantastic author. On her website, there are photos of the actual locations upon which she based the first book. Caution to US readers, the last two books are hard to come by, being sold through Book Clubs etc. Amazon, and other online book dealers have them however,
