Puking Machine, all I have to say is if you aren't here because you like Meg Cabot (which obviously you're not), and you are going to be so rude about it, you can just get out of here, and never come back! Everyone else, what is your favorite Meg Cabot book?

Hi!! I´ve read all 4 books of princess diaries but my favorite one is the third one princess in love!! it´s so good. I just can´t wait for the 5th one to come out!!Don´t you think Michael is the best i wish i would exist!! so what´s the guy next door all about?

Yeah, I do wish Michael existed, he sounds great! The Boy Next Door, is about this really caring girl in New York named Mel, who finds her neighbor next door, lying on the ground, unconscious. She calls 911, and saves her life but her neighbor's life, but she's in a coma. She has pets, which Mel takes care of for a while, but it gets to be too much for her so she gets in contact with her neighbor's only relative, and askes him to come care for her pets. Her neighbor's only relative is a real jerk, and won't leave his vacation to come take care of his aunt's pets, but if she wakes up from a coma he wants her to think he did, so he blackmails a college friend into impersonating him, in case his aunt wakes up. But the catch is Mel and the friend of the jerk fall in love, but she thinks he someone he's not! It's a really good book, and I reccomend it. By the way, sorry if my description was confusing.

I think Megs gr8 n i can't get enuf of her books. I've read 1-4 like 50 times or so cos they're so kwl. I don't think the film did ity justice though-(michel should ave bin betta lookin)-but it ws ok. The boy nex door sounds good- but i haven't had a chance 2 read it yet. Ny1 kno wen the princess diaries 5 is comin out n wat its about?

To Alicia: Yeah, I have read the four books, and I love them all, although I like Princess in Love the best. It's so romantic! I have also read The Boy Next Door, The Mediator, and I am also in the process of reading the four books about the same person that come before The Mediator, written under one of Meg Cabot's other pen names, Jenny Carroll. They are the best, and I am so addicted to her books. Have you read anything else by her?
Response to Angel: I agree with you that the movie didn't do the book justice at all! I mean, what's up with disney killing off her dad in the movie, when he's alive in the books?

She's very amazing.Princess Diaries is Very GREAT book.i had read Princess diaries book in a hundred times, but i never feel bored.And I still waiting for the other Princess diaries next book from Meg Cabot.I'm very love "Princess in Love" book. and, now, i'm read for a 7 times.by the way, why princess diaries 4 has'nt here, in my city, i looking for that book in each week, but i've never seen that.

To Angel: I know, I mean, in the movie they made her grandmother so much nicer than in the books, and I agree that the dad should have been in the movie. I mean, usually disney sweetens things up for the younger viewers, and then they go and kill a character that's alive in the books? Anyway, I think as long as the books do well, that they will probably make a second princess diaries movie. They left the last ending pretty open, so it wouldn't be too hard to do. What do you think?

Meg Cabot KICKS ASS! =^_^= pardon my french. Gives the comment a bit of a kick. I've only read her Mediator Series, all 5 books are AWSOME! I LOVE IT! When I finished one I couldn't wait to read the next one, I think I started twitching at one point ^_^ I love Suze, she's so different from your normal girl main characters, I can't wait for the 6th book. I'll probably have to wait awhile though. I mean she's got like 3 other series goin, but this is a series I recommend to everyone. I mean a chick who can see, talk to, and kick ghosts butt. What's not to like (especially the guy haunting her bedroom... muwahahaha......). Rock on Meg Cabot!

I've read the mediator series, and I think it's my favorite series of hers!! It's so good!!! I can't wait for the next one, and Aylee, I totally agree with you!

I like Meg Cabot's wit. I think it really makes her novels worthwhile. When I read her work it feels like I am talking to my best friend (although I don't know anyone that exciting). I started on Meg like many other people, snagged by the "Princess Diaries" film. I ran to the library and by the end of two days had finished the series. Immediately I moved on through "1-800-Where-R-U," "All-American Girl," various romance novels, and "The Mediator" series. Although Mia's tales were fun and Jessie's stories featured a hot leading man, I think that the "Mediator" books are the best. I recommend them to just about anyone. If you can't find yourself laughing at some of the scenes between Susannah and her ex-smoker catholic priest of a partner there is something wrong with you!

I just read Princess Diaries while visiting my nieces and was surprised at how much I loved it. I was surprised because it is aimed at a younger reader. Very entertaining.
