larry nivens universe is very big and anything imaginable can be found there, I would like to see the people who made LORD OF THE RINGS bring the epic story of RINGWORLD to cinamatic life. What does anyone else think of this Idea?

Yeah, Niven' SF is terrific. Thoughtful, thorough, imaginative. Always new ideas, presented realistically within the bounds of the worlds he creates. I think I've read most of what he has written. Any suggestions for other writers with as much talent and imagination?
