I just want to tell you that all books by Jude Deveraux are gorgeous. Her style is mature, perfect. She is a quite prolific writer. My first book by her was "River Lady". I loved it more then anything else and i'm still a great fan of her creative works.

i would like to see a complete family tree on the montgomerys .I've read almost all of her books and there are many connections between them all, including Alex (from Velvet Song ) having the Lyon Belt (from the Black Lyon).Thank you.

I agree with Jessi. I have been trying to read all the books involving the Montgomery family- in order. I would love to be able to have a family tree to refer to so I could see how the generations evolved. I find all the Montgomery men to be sexy as hell- not because of Jude's physical descriptions though. They are all so honorable, responsible, sensitive & gentle. I just finished "Mountain Laurel" & 'Ring captured my heart. Also, Kitty, Jude DOES repeat Montgomery names. They are all related somehow so it would make sense that they are named after each other. For example, in "Mountain Laurel," 'Ring's real first name is Christopher & he mentions that in the Montgomery family "Kit" is often used as a nickname for Christopher. Remember Myles' son, Kit, in "Velvet Angel?" In "Mountain Laurel," Toby also mentions that any Montgomery girl with "the sight" is named Christiana. Remember Christiana in "Velvet Angel," who was able to predict the future? This is why a family tree would make things so much easier for all of us. So, if anyone has one (or even a partial one) worked out, PLEASE post it. Thanks!

The montgomery family tree in it entirity has elude me but I have managed to find part of one in the front cover of the 1992 edition of Eternity. As for the rest of it I have a feelng its completion would be in the cover of other 1992 editions Jude Deveraux novels. That is of course if someone hasnt ripped then out and put them together. If any has a part of the puzzel I implore you to post it.
Thank you

Here I go, I am going to also have to ask for the montgomery family tree. I just recently picked up reading and I started with A Knight in Shining Armor. I did not realize that she was making a whole series out of this family until i read The Temptress. I came online to see if there was a diffrence in these two montgomery families or if it was a continuation of the same story. If anyone could help me understand the family by sending me a tree i would reeeaaaalllllyyyy love that. Thanks!

My goodness, avid Deveraux fans, just like me. I own mostly all of the Montgomery collection and it is a really large, not to mention incredible family tree. I'm going to go through it and make an attempt to post it. It might take a while but bear with me.
Oh and King...that was rude what you said the first time...

This couple had roughly 20 kids adopted and birthed.

The Heiress

The Temptress
-Christiana Montgomery Mathison married Tynan

The Raider

This is the Taggert Montgomery crossover.

The Princess

They had Victoria-this starts the royal family tree...

I am definately missing Forever and a few others but its a start. This is really rough. Her books also mention Edward, Berengaria, Margaret "Joby", Sayer, Lillian, Adam, Marianna, and a few others. I guess we have to keep a look out for them..

If anyone has any info....feel free. I don't think I have the sequence right either...
Please your input would be appreciated.....
