I am haveing a hard time finding a short story written by Mitchener. I think the title was A Childrens story written in the early 80's or late 70's. it is about how the governnemt can
change our society by changing teachers in school and having the new teacheres brainwash the children in the school system, thus changing society as a whole.
Does any one else remember this book. I had lent my only copy to a school teacher who is no longer teaching in our area
I have tried to find a copy on the internet books stores but have had no luck

James A. Michener, in a very slow way, is painting a picture to us of how the Alaska we know today began; from the ice age to the present.

As he describes the "People of the North" in chapter 3 he describes a tribe of people hunting a mammoth. Describe how this was done.
