It is about Sheila and Bob Beckwith. They have 2 daughters.
Bob has an affair a years ago, and suddenly knew that he has a child (Jean-Claude) with the mother Nicole Guérin, just died. And they can hardly accept the boy... their daughter taught it will get their father way from them, but in the end they end up with tears.

Hey, is there any more detailed biographies of Erich Segal besides his biography at the back of the book "Love Story"?
Anyway, i like Love story. It's great! But the ending is so corny. Oliver just cried. I wish Erich Segal gave more detail after Jenny died.

i love reading love story. i am a little envy that i don't have such a smart and beautiful girlfriend. but i believe in someday in the future i will meet such a gril who can know me and understand me

I had read this book in my academy . It was really fantastic book !!!

I haven't read book like this fun .

It was really romantic and sad .

I cried when I read the end of the story . Anyways it was really good book .

And may be I never want to forget this book .

i've read Doctors and The Class. they're amazing. Doctors blew me away. definitely worth reading. The Class..also good but not AS good! Segal is an excellent writer.

i love reading "Doctors" because it really captured the sacrifices and trials that college students face everyday, from terror professors to complicated schedules and also the different people that we encounter. the ambitions that we have that we are working hard for to achieve...Ü
