A message for Elizabeth Graver,
I am an Iranian translator and a frequent visitor of Ploughshares ,Boston review and story magazines .I have read some your works ,Mourning Door in Ploughshares ,Three Mothers in Boston review and awake .I found them very well crafted. I enjoyed them all. You have an ability to grasp the hands of your readers into the lives of your characters, illuminating complex lives and situations. You have done a very thoughtful characterization in "Three Mothers. Please be informed that I have translated many American and other nationals into Farsi for the first time. I have also translated your story Three Mothers into Farsi. The Story will appear in an Iranian Weekly magazine Atiye.

Accept my highest regards and best wishes for a prosperous New Year and peace for all.

Cordially

Dear Asadollah Amraee,
Thank you very much for your kind words about my work and for translating some of it. I only came across this message now, a few years after you wrote it! Did the story appear in the magazine? What other writers have you translated into Farsi?
Warmly,
Elizabeth Graver
