Does anyone else out there enjoy reading CJ Cherryh? I have a preference for her SF.

I have mixed feelings about Cherryh. She's an enormously talented writer, and some of her books are my favorites and I find myself re-reading them frequently and wishing she'd write more about these people and places. But some of her novels leave me cold. I can't get into her latest books 'Explorer', 'Destroyer', etc. at all. Then there are some that I read once, like mildly and never re-read, and it's hard for me to define why. Anyhow, I liked 'Hammerfall' but not 'Forge of Heaven' as much. I like the 'Fortress of-' Series, and I liked 'Cuckoo's Egg', 'The Dreaming Tree', 'Tripoint', 'The Faded Sun' trilogy, but not the Chanur series.
