Bryce Courtnay

Forum

Hi, I'm a 15 year old student who started reading Bryce Courtnays books a year ago. I didn't have anything to do at the time and found the book Four Fires and started to read it (I'm one of them people who find it hard to stick with one book till the end)and could NOT put it down. After finishing that book about one and a half months later I got Matthew Flinders Cat for Christmasread it,then went on to read the very sad but very good April Fools Day. By far my favourite novel would be Jessica which makes the reader fell so many different emotions sad, happy, glad, releaved and very angry. Since last year I have read all but The Potato Factory(which I'm reading now)Tommo and Hawk and Soloman's Song. I just want to say thank you for writing such entertaning novels Bryce.

What a coincedence. I am 17 and started reading Bryce Courtnays books at 15. He is definitily a man that can tell a good tale. I started with Power of One which is the most compelling book I have ever read! I then progressed to Tandia followed by April Fools Day and since than I have read - Potatoe Factory, Jessica, Matthew Flinders Cat and am now in the midst of reading Tommo and Hawk. All I have to say is thank you to a gentleman that writes novels steeped in history and told with such essence that you never want the book to end. He certainly has a way of making words come to life and you a part of the characters joureny!
