I have been devouring Every Breath You Take and really have to work at putting it down. I am shocked to hear that Jamie Bellush has shut out Both of Sheila's daughters, as I thought it was Darryl that he had the difficulty coming to terms with in the beginning. I am extremely glad both girls have picked up the pieces of their lives and moved on from this terrible tradgedy. I love Ann Rule's style of writing as she gets right into the hearts and minds of the subjects she covers. This particular book should serve as a reminder that the definition of domestic abuse should not just be limited to physical harm done by one spouse to another within the confines of marriage. Thank you for yet another awesom read.

I thought the book 'Every Breath You Take' was awesome as well and was wondering if there is an e-mail address for either of Sheila's daughters? I pray that they can and will give all of this to God, and know that they will see their mom again someday. I wonder how the quads are and if they have ever been able to remember anything as they got older? That was a horrific experience for anyone-but for babies to have to see? Blackthorne and his 'cronies' didn't care that the babies were left alone or that they witnessed their mom's murder. None of them cared about human lives. They wouldn't have cared who it was, as long as they were paid.
I think maybe that Jamie shut the girls out in his pain, but they were(are) in pain also. Everybody lost Sheila.
Ann Rule told this story in amazing detail. I think that the best thing is that Blackthorne and everybody involved were brought to justice!!

I can answer some of the questions posted here regarding Every Breath You Take: Allen Blackthorne was beaten pretty badly in prison here in San Antonio and had to be moved to a prison in Atlanta GA. Maureen no longer is standing with her man, she is going to divorce him and she has put the "pink palace" up for sell. She and their two sons still live there. By the way, it is no longer pink. It was painted beige a few years ago. Maureen is going to prison also! She was found guilty of tax evasion and will find out at the end of this year how long her sentence will be, she can get up to 3 years.
