Hey. Looking forward to Hawksong. I hope it's better than her first three. RaNdI

Amelia is by far my favorite writer ever. I have her books in hard and paperback for the few books that come with that option. She inspired me to write the day I first read Demon In My View two years back. I know others do not like her but I am inspired by her everytime I just as look at a book of hers.

I fell in love with Amelia's writing after I read Demon in My View. All her metiphors and powerful sarcasem had me hooked. Like how we all feel the first day of school, "Ah, Ramsa High School. What a perfect little niche of Hell." It is amasing how you can relate to all her charactures and just want to be in that world with them. And the way in her books say, "What if it was real? What if it was all real?" Oh how I wish she was tellin the truth. Amelia has a devoted fan in me and she knows now that she'll have at least one of her books sell!

Gosh, you peopl really have never read any other books in your lives have you?

"Amelia is my favorite writer."

If that is so, then you people probably have never picked up a real book in your life.

>>By Kiro   (Wednesday, 28 May 2003 17:32)

My friend let my borrow the first book and i got HOOKED!!!! I love all her books. I can't wait for the next book to came out.

>>By Amanda   (Thursday, 29 May 2003 01:20)

Maybe it's because i'm a guy, I don't know, but whatever...her books are works of crap. The plots have been overused by other authors and that Jessica bitch is nothing but a whiny and shallow bitch who needs a life. No wonder she has no friends, she's your average loner wannabe who acts all high and mighty.

As for the writer, she has no skill. The publishing house obviously did it to make a lot of money off of gullible teens.

Ignorance is the only form of negative criticism that is intolerable. Amelia is to be commened. Absolutely brilliant.

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes ROCKS!!! Her books are the best I've ever read! Ok! I have only read "Demon In My View" and "In The Forests Of The Night" but that's only because you can't get the rest of her books in Denmark! But still! SHE ROCK THIS WORLD! (And the other world!) Well! Gotta go!

In response to Kiro's comment:
I am a frequent reader; my parents have numerous pictures of me reading on vacations in various sunny places, instead of swimming or sunbathing, etc. I read many, many authors, and I appreciate most genres. A *few* of my favorite authors are:
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Philip Pullman
Iris Johansen
Nora Roberts
J. K. Rowling (who isn't a fan?)
Vivian Vande Velde
J. R. R. Tolkien
Garth Nix
and Eoin Colfer

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes has some of the most outstanding talent among my favorite authors, and she continues to amaze me with her brilliance in writing. She, in fact, has inspired me to write. I have posted what I've written and *so far* have gotten fantastic reviews. It is under the penname Guiding Light, if anyone is interested.

Anyway, that was a long and round-about way of stating that I DO read many books and different authors, and Amelia still hooks me with her talent and grasp of the teenage mind. She continues to outdo herself, and I am anxiously waiting for Hawksong to be released.

man this stinks i dont think that her next book is gonna be about vampires! wut really bugs me though is that she neva finishes the complete story with all her books..like i wanna knoe wut happened to turiquose and Jaguar in midnight predator that was the best book i couldnt stop reading it!!

Hawksong was a really good book, even if it's NOT about vampires, though I'll admit my first love never was vampires. Nor my second, nor my third. Amelia's writing is amazing for someone her age, and I hope to one day be that good, but I've wanted to be a writer since kindergarden. Read Hawksong, becuase even if it has no vamps, it's still got hot chars, amusing dialouge, and is a really good story.

as a writer my self it is inspiring to see such young people with compelling talents in writing. I love Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Her stories flow witha certain rhythm that i have not found any writer to use yet. everytime i read one of her books i get entrapped in the story. i never want to put the book down, then as i near the last couple of pages i wish for the story to go on. although it does erk me how she never tells u what happens to the characters in the end, perhaps in future writings she will hopefully. well anyways she inspires me to work hard at gettin published. i think amelia atwater-rhodes will be an amazing writer of out generation.

Ok I'm responding to Mr. James. Look you arragont little bastard, it' not just because you're a guy that you don't like somebodys work. That really has nothing to do with it. It's just your arrongant behavior that allows you to act like that. If YOU can write 5 books have them all published and have millions of people read them by the time that your her age then you will see how hard that really is. She is a very creative writer and the way she writes her book captures people, not just because she writes ficiton but because people will take time to sit-down and read it. So you didn't have to read the books nobody held a gun to your head and said read this book that was of your own free will and it's my free will that lets me say all of this to you. I'm not usually a very mean person but people like you just kins of bring it out of me. And I think her books are all wonderful and I can't wait to read the next one. And I agree with that one girl I think that she sould have told us what happend to Jaguar And Terquiose.

>>By JagsGurl   (Wednesday, 3 Dec 2003 00:14)

i agree with amy and jags girl. i've only read the first 3 books but love her work. i've read all sorts of books, of different genres, levels, ect. would you say that the chronicles of narnia are not real booksw(my mind was at a blank and jumped to a lasting piece of literature) jessica is like the average person which make you connect. i would love to see some of amy's works if she sees this. lots more to complain about but i have to do some stuff.

Wow! Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is such an awesome writer. I love everyone of her published works. My favorite, by far, is definately Hawksong. She has really grown as a writer and Hawksong shows how she did. Her characters are so real. If she was talking about Zane and Danica in a normal conversation, you would think that she was talking about two of her best friends. I love Amelia. She is my favorite author, of course. My cousin introduced me to In the Forests of the Night about 2 or 3 years ago. I started reading it the day she let me borrow her book. I finished it that day. I could not put it down. I am in my freshman year of college right now and I am actually doing an evaluation paper on Hawksong. I am really enjoying it. I wonder when she is going to make a sequal to Midnight Predator and Shattered Mirror. I would really like to see what Turquoise and Sarah decide to do with their lives.

Awesome writer! her books made me wanna write-i have wrote a few fanfics, and everytime i sit down to write, i think of her books. she is one of my favorite authors! i cant wait til SnakeCharm comes! 13 more days!!! :-)

>>By magick_vampiress09   (Thursday, 16 Sep 2004 00:00)

I'm liking her newer books a bit less than her first ones, maybe just because they're in a series or something... I'm not sure exactly why that is, but I happen to just be fond of the older books with vampires than the newer ones with shape shifters.
