>>By munk

I have almost read 8 of his books and i simply love it. Because it is simply extrodinary and interesting the way he capture human emotion and makes it fun to read. Like other authors his books are not boring and i like the way he mixes
reality and fiction to make the book interesting, for example the book river god. It is also amazing the way he write's, because he has his own style not like some authors who many times try to always bepolitically correct. In the near future i hope he writes more and i get to read them all. If Mr.Wilber Does read this by any chance,"you are simple great".

If you start reading a Wilber Smith book, you will not stop until you have read them all. I suggest you start now, if you have not yet begun.

I want to read all Mr Smiths books. However, it seems some are written as a series. Can anyone provide a list of which books they are and the order in which they should be read?????

I had not read a Wilber Smith book untill Warlock came out, and this ws only because a book club rang me and i had spare time on my hands. I have now aquired 22 of his master peices and i am currently reading them ( i am still looking for the looking for the rest!!). All i can say is that each one i have read i simply cannot put down. Mr Smith really does capture you and you really do feel like you are there on the desert plain with Taita or on the deck of a galleon with Hal Courtney. Thank you Mr Smith for truely being a 'Master story teller'.

i was wondering if there was any way of getting an email to him. i guess that would be pretty impossible but i thought i would try in any case. i've just started reading his books and the theme of honour is so strong that i really wish that it was like that these days. i just want to know what he thinks about that....

>>By tiata

I'm a great admirer of his books - to such an extent that I've now read every single one. I recently picked up his new novel "Blue Horizon" which is continuing the exciting saga of "Monsoon"...I don't have to say to anyone 'go buy it' because I'm sure you all have. What I love most as a reader is the ability of an author to transport you to another far and distant land and just from the words on a page, fall in love with the mood, people and traditions of those characters...I've never been to Africa but through his books it has occupied many a good hour simply daydreaming of getting there some day.....

i have just finished rading the seventh scroll and thought it was brill i'm not a book worm but i have red the warlock, river god and the sun god. your books have inspired me to read more instead of watching t.v like most 14 teen year olds. I have a learning problem called

No relation I'm afraid. What a great author. I am a blind reader and listen to his books on tape. I am relatively new to reading and have yet to find any other books as good as his. I really enjoyed, When the lion feeds and recently have read, A Time to Die, Brilliant. On average his books are on 18 tapes and I get through them in only a few days, other books of similar sizes take me 3 or 4 times as long. Just goes to show how good Wilber Smith's books are.

Wilber Smiths books in the Egyptian series are among the best novels that I have ever read. I look forward to another if he writes one.

>>By Liz Carey

Have read all his books. Love them all, some more then others, best are early books i.e when the lion feeds and leopard hunts in darkness. Thought he was losing it recently but have started Blue Horizon and fist 150 pages are fantastic (that’s all i have read so far). Seeing as Wilbur is in his 70's i guess he will stop writing soon- mores the pity, he is a fantastic author. I especially like the way all his hero’s go to Africa and make their fortune (some by tripping over diamonds), as an ex-Africa hand it makes me miss it very much. Thanks Wilbur

My favorite Smith book is "Eye Of The Tiger". I think it would make a great movie.

>>By Jeris

I too have discovered this great author. At first I thought he was just a great story teller and not a particularly good author. But I've grown to love his beautiful descriptions of Africa, the often disturbing violence, and the gritty characters that he has created. I would like to know the sequence of books that follow the history of the Courtney family. I am reading all his books I can find and just finished The Burning Shore. Which book tells of Centaine's next adventure -- the one where she develops the H'ani Diamond Mine? Is Bird's of Prey the first Courtney Book?
