I have only read Scoop (pertaining to journalism) and The Loved One (pertaining to the funeral business) so far, both I highly recommend. >>By MagentaStraberry The last chapter of "A Handful of Dust" is wonderfully chilling, dark, and humorous. "The Loved One" is a terrific indictment of the funeral industry. The "Sword of Honor" trilogy and "Bridehead Revisited" are superb. Though overshadowed by his younger brother, Alec Waugh's novels offer interesting glimpses into the English upper middle class before W W II, and Evelyn's grandson, Auberon, made quite a name for himself as a novelist, journalist and social critic.
