It's about a girl who's archeologist sister disapears. The girl takes a job at the site that she disapeared as a tutor for other girls. I don't know if you want to hear the whole story. Do you want to hear more??

It's an OKAY book, but not too much suspence and she could have made the ending a little better......also, the book got boring at time......

I did think the book was great though, but I think most of her books are good (the queens confession sucked).

I am still reading the book 'The Shivering Sands' and I have not yet reached the climax and don't know where Roma or Edith is. In all the book is very interesting and one cannot stop reading until one discovers the mysteries one after the other. I would be reading all the books by Victoria Holt if I get hold of . Also books by Wilkie Collins are quite interesting, one of them is 'A woman in white' which is also a mystery suspense.

Victoria Holt also wrote under the name Phillipa Carr

Hi i have read nearly all Victoria Holts books. She is the queen of gothic romantic suspense! If you want a synopsis or to buy any of her books check out amazon.com . They have nearly all Victoria Holt titles and ratings of her work.
