Starting off, his more recent work, Strangers' Gate, was such a departure from regular fast-paceed, page-turner novels.
I think the readability makes it a pop gem with the savvy to convey actual character development, which tends to be so vacant in the genre. I was thrilled at the morsels of sardonic, honesty throughout and happy that Walker remained faithful and real at the same time.
Bravo!
