I loved Tricksters Choice series, Aly was a great character. But Alanna is still my favourite.

george lover:
I agree with u that the tortall books are better than the others, the others just arn't the quite same.
I like the trickster books alot, but i just don't like them as well as some of the others.
Has any one heard if TP is writing any more Tortall books???

>>By Cimorene   (Saturday, 20 Nov 2004 23:23)

cimorene:
yes TP is writing more tortall books, if u go on to her website then it tells u all the future books she is planning to write. she is going to write a trilogy set 200 years before alanna i think about a street girl who is trained by the lord provost to find theives and she is going to write two books on numair called the eary years about when in was friends with the emperor and how he came to tortall also i think she is going to write a book on Maura of dunlath the girl from the immortals two, she miht write some more circle of magic books but i dont read them so im not sure.

I think the Circle of Magic books were a nice change from the Tortall series. Don't get me wrong! I love Daine and Ally's series the best, but the Circle of Magic has it's own charm. ^-^ I'm happy she's finally lengthening her books, too.

I think the Circle of Magic books are good, but i just don't like them as well as the tortall books. But i to am happy sooo happy that she is lengthening her books.

HI :), Im new. To get started i would like to say that Nawat is probably my favorite male character and it's between Daine and Aly for female character. I like Dove better than Sarai, mainly because, not against Sarai or anything but, she seemed more like courtier fluff. She was more into silks and jewls and less into the things that matter, like politics. She was passionate which was a major plus, and she wasnt completely lost to the bratty nobles, but she still wasnt as 'grown up' as Dove. Doves character just seemed more complexe and her name was prettier too. This is also the first book of Tamoras that I have felt like she actually ended. i think the trickster series was written the best out of all of them, with less of a juvenile perspective. well thats all!

Welcome Secret47 !!
I agree with you about Sarai and Dove. Sarai would not have made a very good Queen.

>>By Cimorene   (Monday, 29 Nov 2004 18:33)

did ányone else feel like they knew all along that Dove would be queen?

>>By raspberry_juice   (Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004 01:52)

i knew becuase someone already said so on the site before i read it
o well, i was still one of my most favorites

>>By Lavendr   (Saturday, 4 Dec 2004 07:42)

I had i feeling dove would be queen, just because, a) Saria wouldn't have been that good of a queen, and b) I didn't think that someone like her could take the pressure of being a queen( so even if she had become queen I don't think she would have lasted very long).

>>By Cimorene   (Tuesday, 7 Dec 2004 22:33)

am i the only person who hasnt read tricksters queen? does anyone on the forum thing live in england coz im sure it hasnt come out here yet, which really sucks but i could be wrong. does anyone who lives in england have a copy?

>>By george lover   (Thursday, 9 Dec 2004 23:02)

does no one come to this site anymore? does everyone go to the other one instead?

>>By george lover   (Friday, 7 Jan 2005 17:09)

>>By raspberry_juice   (Sunday, 16 Jan 2005 06:55)
