To me it's a poem about aging, and a good one at that. Don't know what specifics you may or may not want.

I am finding this quote of his very inspirational at this point in my life

Eliot is in a category by himself. He is included in High Modernism when literature was growing upward in intellect. Foreign languages and cultures were inserted into text after WW II had left its mark on the world. Ezra Pound had a lot to do with Eliot's progression and was a friend and consultant in Eliot's writings.
