i think you should do your homework yourself... you cant expect to find eveyhting on the internet try unsing books if you are short on information, nd remember no matter how old your teacher may be they still will probably have used the interent and read any articles on syliva plath so be careful simone
To Chica, Sylia was born in America but i belive that her mother was from a Russia decent and i think her father may have been German i am not to sure of this and i hope it is of some help, her main inflluence with to do with her poetry was from someone she studied with 4a while. Some people might also say that she her husband, Ted Hughes also influenced her but this im not quite sure.

An inspiration of syliva plath was virginina wolf.
slyvia plath married a two-timing swine ted hughes.
to everyone out there i tinhk instead of looking sylvia up on the web you should just read her books you would get to feel her more.
yes paris her father was german.

Well, No, infact her father was a German speaking Polack. Sylvia was born in the US and although she writes of searhing for her father's roots, never went to Germany in search. Sylvia wrote much of her work about the horror of death, although there are celebrtory poems, espeshally the two poems she wrote about her children in Ariel, Nick and the candle Stick and You're. In these two poems a feeling of their presence being a rejouvenation for her is evident.
