Sylvia was born in the US and although she writes of searhing for her father's roots, never went to Germany in search. Sylvia wrote much of her work about the horror of death, although there are celebrtory poems, espeshally the two poems she wrote about her children in Ariel, Nick and the candle Stick and You're. In these two poems a feeling of their presence being a rejouvenation for her is evident. >>By Elizabeth Hello im doing an independent study essay on sylvia plath's book "the bell jar" for my Alevel english litriture coursework. The idea is to choose a book and write a question and answer of 2500 words.
