Discussion: Susan Howatch

Her books are the best fiction ever written. Does anyone else come close?

I have never found a better author. I have read all of her books twice. I just saw that she has a new one out. CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT.

The first book I read of Susan Howatch was Cashelmara. I couldn't put it down. With the exception of the books written in the 60s, I have read everything she has written. I'm just finished purchasing these books.

Susan Howatch is my favorite author. There is no comparison to her writing, her style, the depth of research, and the intrigue. I'm just finishing The Wonder Worker. I was on vacation and brought it with me. I hate her books to end.

I wish there was a book signing for her next book. Even though I'm an American and live in NJ, just outside of Manhatten, I would make every effort to attend. I wish I could meet Ms Howatch and have the opportunity to tell her personally how much I enjoy her writing.

I would like to hear more about her conversion, and what were those factors that led to her change of life style.
