Discussion: Samantha Power Has anybody read Samantha Power´s introduction to the newest edition of Hannah Arendt´s "The Orgins of Totalitarianism"? I expect it is an interesting way of linking Arendt´s sharp analysis of totalitarianism to our times of political turbulence and turmoil....a friend recently mentionend to me that Power in this text oulines a sketch of a theory of the new totalitarianism, that is, religious fundamentalism using terrorism as its foremost means of political action.
