Discussion: S. E. Hinton

Dude S.E. Hinton is one of youths best authors. She writes about events that accures in teens everyday life. When your reading her books not only can you visualise the story but you can relate to the story. I really think she should keep writting. She's one the only authors I'll read. Her and Anne Rice.

S.E. Hinton is great she has written so many books and she is just awesome. She started writing so young, that is so amazing!! I dont tihnk you should go join a gang tho because of her books. I ithnk she is trying to show that gans violence is not good, and neither is speration because of money and class.

I first read the outsiders when I was 12, and I got hooked. To be honest I didn't like her other literature much. But the outsiders deserves more than praise. She was young like all of us and she wrote from real life experience and obtained a deep insight in growing up as a teenager. Though times are different you can still relate with the book as if it was written yesterday. But the real moral of the story is that everyone has problems, rich or poor and no one is better because of it. It's what's inside not the social shit that people hide behind.
