Discussion: Robert Walser I just read "Heavy metal...", and I thought it was great. I would like to see his view of metal now, 10 years after he wrote the book. It was very nice to get validation. I knew I was listening to a good type of music, now if I could convince my parents that it's not satanic. Yes I'm almost 30 and my parents still don't like heavy metal. Thanks for the book. >>By Jason Hoover I have read "Running with the devil.." and i believe it is brilliant. It illustrates how exactly is Heavy Metal music. It is an answer for those who see heavy metal as a childish music with no meaning. For me these people simply do not understand music. When i read the book i felt a relief that finally someone expressed in words all the feelings that the music of Heavy Metal creates. Thanks for the book.
