Interesting book. My students enjoyed it. I based a university course on it in Forlì, Italy and then realized the potential to give an insight into the political, cultural and social aspects of life in Belfast in the '70s. Best Course I've ever taught. Thank you Robert. fstockman@ireland.com

Just mad about the boy. (While reading Ripley Bogle, I kept turning the book backcover to look at the darned picture which wasn't there) That novel gave me such a thrill I will keep it in my very bones. (Though I read it in french, but I believe Brice Matthieussent did a pretty good translation) As for Eureka Street, I spread it to all my friends with great success, making new fans all around...

Now comes the downside : waiting and waiting for the next one... Please, Robert, give us more! For these are amongst the more funny, cruel, touching novels I read in many years. Like those books you read while young and then keep for life.

Eureka Street made me believe that people are still able to love and that there are poets around us. I met Robert a few days ago and must say he's just like his books - funny, clever and absolutely marvellous.

A great author for a great book! Ripley Bogle is an exhilarating novel, but pay attention: it is only a joke!

Rober McLiam Wilson- I met him in Sosnowiec(Poland) he is great writer with brilliant ideas. I've already read 'Eureka Street' and this is one of the best books I've ever read. Now I'm reading 'Ripley Bogle' and I am abosolutely delighted :))

I wonder if Inflatable Citizen is as good as the rest of his novels?

Eureka Streat and Ripley Bogle... very good litterature. Robert McLiam Wilson is very nearly poor, ugly and dirty life, it is also very specific and strong kind of houmour. black jokes... I very like it.
and greetings for robert:)
