I loved the book "Divine secrets of the ya ya sister hood" I thought it was great! :)

She is a profound writer and author of two of the most moving books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. She is utterly brilliant when it comes to her knowledge of southern Louisiana life. I absolutely enjoyed everything about LIttle Altars and Divine Secrets. I would be honored to someday meet her in person.

I saw part of the movie, and thought it was pretty good. So I bought the book and fell absolutely in love. Then I bought the movie and thought it was okay, but not nearly as good as the book. You didn't get all of the emotion and thoughts running thorough their heads, as is true with most novels-turned-movies. So then I bought Little Altars Everywhere to read for a class assignment and wished I had read it first.

In short, these books are absolutely incredible, and I think every woman should read them. And men should read them as well, so as to understand what we're going through. Or maybe it's best that we keep our secrets.
