She is a awesome writer..For year's I have been looking for a writer that keeps me entranced..I found her online at Amazon and read Widacre, The favored child, Meridon, The Queen's fool. and now I'm reading- The other Boleyn girl..I'm totally hooked..I will not stop until I read every book Gregory has written..

She has ruined me for anyone else.

If u haven't read her..I suggest u do..U will not regret it.

Just noticed that there is a whole parallel thread in which I and a number of other people are posting equally admiring comments about a mis-spelt PhiLLiPa Gregory but we are in the majority so we must be right!!!

ps we like her just as much as you splitters over here!!

I think that Philippa Gregory is a great writer. I got hooked on Wideacre from the 1st page and all her other novels are really good. Does anyone out there also wonder about what happend to Ralph? It would be great if she wrote a series about what happend to him, or the Wideacre story form his perspective. Another great thing about PG is that she appeals to many ages my friends mum recomended them to my friend and she to me. I think that the Wideacre stories would make great films, does anyone else think that?

peni,

you (and others here) might want to check out philippa's website, philippagregory.com, where there is a good thread about films and dramatisation of her books, amongst lots more.

I finished THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL in three days flat, all 663 pages and loved every word, she is a master of the period. There is a video interview of her somewhere online in which she discusses her research methods. She is fantastic, The Other Boleyn Girl is coming out in December as a feature film with Scarlett Johansen, Natalie Portman and Eric Bana. I can't wait!
