Discussion: Pedro Juan Gutiérrez So, I'm reading Pedro Juan gutiérrez for the first time, and I'm amazing!! I'm reading "trilogía sucia de la Habana" is a cuban novel about the 90's cuban crisis, but is mainly a novel about cuba and its people! so alive, so rude as the real people are, every people in world... I haven't finished the reading yet, and i'm knowing the cuba that i wil never know! the book is formed by short stories that make a complet setting for Havan (HABANA - i'm not sure about the writing in english) and mixes annals about the author's life... by the way, is a good and wonder experience of reading! Pedro Juan Gutiérrez is a Cuban Writter. "Trilogía sucia de La Habana" is a novel published in 1998 after this he published another 4 books known as the Havan's downtown cycle (or something like that, this is a free translate from the term in portuguese). >>By Paula N I went to havana in 2003 and read his book 'Insatiable Spiderman' - both awesome experiences!
