"perfume" was the greatest book i have ever read. in answer to Wolf's question, he certainly DOES deserve to be congratulated, because he is an inspiring author whos work led to Kurt Cobain writing the song "scentless apprentice" (which is based on the novel perfume)... also, the marilyn manson EP "smells like children" was inspired by the novel. the pidgeon was also a very intense and thought-provoking read. the man is a genius =)
