From Mr. Joady Guthrie, Berkeley area, California on December 9, 2002

I am enthusiastic about Noreena's suggestion of the international community setting up a World Social Organizatio/WSO to parrallel and compliment the existing World Trade Organization/WTO. I am presently searching Internet to see who else might be enthusiastic about such a WSO, or if any NGO's are organizing for the creation of a WSO. A WSO seems a more plausible idea than, say, a World Labor Organization/WLO, at this time. But a WSO could lead, in the decades ahead to a WLO. Or a WSO might take on many of the concerns that a so-called WLO might one day have.

If you too are interested in what's on Internet cocerning a plausible WSO, and how some NGO's might be organizing to get the international community to set up a WSO, do correspond with me via e-mail: Mr. Joady Guthrie <jguthrie@lmi.net> in the Berkeley area, California, US

Dear Dave -- I am newly searching Internet to see if there is any NGO organization for, or global momentum behind, the wonderful idea of the international community setting up a World Social Organization/WSO to parrallel or compliment the WTO. Please contact me if you can help me narrow down my search. I would sure like to help a WSO come into being! Sincerely, Mr. Joady Guthrie, Berkeley area, California

A long time resident of Berkeley, California, US. A son of Woody Guthrie--Arlo Guthrie's brother.

Seeking a web site builder to build the first web site devoted to promoting the setting up of an exclusive World Social Organization, modeled after the WTO. A WSO to be initiated by a core group of socially advanced nations, such as the US, and Western European nations, and Japan to name a few. WSO's goal: to raise global social standards.
WSO members would be favored candidates
for IMF and World Bank loans. Telephone Joady in the US at home at 510-528-9263 or e-mail at <jguthrie@lmi.net>

Announcing the World Social Organization Project of America/WSOPA, office: Berkeley, California, US. Tel:(510) 528-9263. E-mail: jguthrie@lmi.net. Joady Guthrie WSOPA Coordinator. Post: 1109 Dartmouth St. Suite B, Albany (Berkeley area) California, US

WSOPA’s Mission Statement: To raise support for certain national governments to set up a World Social Organization/WSO. Amongst the WSO’s membership criteria would be that all members must have health care systems that cover 100% of their citizenries. WSOPA will try to raise support in the United States for a WSO, hoping that, with the WSO’s establishment, the government of our country--the U.S.-- will sooner establish health care for 40 million U.S. citizens presently without regular access to health care, in order that the U.S. may eventually become a WSO member.

Help me create WSOPA's web site: Make checks payable to Joady Guthrie and send to address above. First fifty persons to send over $100 will be listed on our new stationary as Founding Members. First twenty five persons to send over $250 will be listed as Hononary Members. ///
