Discussion: Nik Cohn

Nik Cohn - where can I find today there are no gentlemen

>>By gozwald

As a writer I can aver that Nik Cohn is held in high esteem by both Pete Townsend and their whole crew as I discovered when I was in England in 1980 and tried to get in touch with Pete and happened to mention his name; their manager, whose name escapes me told me that Pete was busy.
Anyway; Nik Cohn is one of the few who count; one of the few who matter; but he has no real idea where rock is going because he knows not the real treason that music was made the vehicle to bring the balck and white races together; and to set the pattern to bring all races together; it is not just a youth phenomenon of rebellion and coming-of-age but something more.

Oh yea; I remember what the Who's manager's name was: Chris Chapel
