Typical feminist writer, the protagonist spoils her books. Like in "The Red Room", it just so happens that all the other male investigators on the case are incorrect in their guessing, and are all hot-heads. Yet she, for some spectacular reason, seems to have an inclination which always seems to solve certain parts of the murder cases. In fact all the men come across as a bit below-par in the book. Its really annoying reading a book when you hate the main character lol. Tut tut Ms French.
