Just want to let fans know there is a scholarly but fun new Python text out there, called "Monty Python, Shakespeare, and English Renaissance Drama" (McFarland Publishing, 2003). Available through the publisher and amazon.com, the book looks at the close relationship between Python and the dramatists of Shakespeare's age, including abuses of history, crossdressing, satire and humor in general, etc.
