So far I have only read "The Dark Room" and "The Scold's Bridle" and I have loved each. The only problem I have is that after reading these two novels, I now find her books to be somewhat predictable. I found that I didn't even try to solve "The Scold's Bridle", because I knew that it would be the last person I expected and the motive would be invisible til the very end. I was able to solve "The Scold's Bridle", without even trying. I knew who it was going to be because they were the last people I wouldv'e expected. I didn't try to find a motive because I knew it wouldn't even give me a hint as to what it could possibly be. Other than finding her stories predictable I enjoyed both novels enormously. "The Dark Room" is my favorite book. It is also the only book I've read more than once. I've read three times so far and each time I learn sometthing new.

The first book I have read was "Acid Row" and I found myself not able to stop reading. The story line is so shocking and written so real, the whole thing could have happened next door. "The Sculptress" was definately a book worth reading and little hints troughout the book as well as the last few scentenses of the book definaltey leave you wondering. Now "The Scold's Bridle" I found rather boring at first, but it definatley got interesting in the end. I have to agree with Jessie, my favorite book (next to "Acid Row") is "The Dark Room". There are definatley lots of twists and turn leaving me guessing till the end. I would have never guessed the killer in a million years.
I have ordered all of her books and I can't wait for the next ones to be published.

Regards, Kristina
