Because I to wanted to do Sadistic things and sexually perverted things to woman.I have been diagnosed with a Sexual disorder. I wanted to act those things out,his was merely an expression through writing alot like what I do. Though things are much different now, I don't want to be that way anymore. Riddled with pox and the terminal throes of syphlitic dementure .He must have looked a sad old sight. Poor man. I have not I confess done other than browse a poor translation of his works,in a second hand book shop, a multy volume set I was unwilling to open my wallet for, but one tends to read more of him than by him. I guess in his day he was stretching the envelope of consent. Often i wonder, were the brutal and bloodthirsty exploits of the revolutionaries any better than De Sades exploits presumably with consenting participants.
