Out of the thouands of books i've read Marian Keyes is the best. I love her sense of humour and serious side and I just hope that the one-off drama 'watermelon' which is on television soon does the book justice. If anyone wants discuss her books with me contact me; birm@bushinternet.com

My fave book has to be Rachels Holiday closely followed by Sushi for Beginners. Marian makes me laugh, cry and has succeeded in reigniting my love of reading. She is fab!

I like her books too, because they are not just romances, but treat serious problems, like drug abuse or alcoholism. And what is the most important about her that she has an excellent sense of humour!! I have read Lucy Sullivan is getting married and Rachel's Holiday so far.

I absolutely love Marian Keyes but have come accross 1 problem, i've just finished her last book and havent got any other to read now! Anyone know any authors with the same style and humour as her? Thanks a million :)

I love Marian Keyes' books. So far I've read all except "Lucy Sullivan...", and "Sushi for Beginners". Although there is some repetition throughout the books, it works because most of her main characters are sisters, and likely to encounter some of the same things.

Reading her books is like "hanging out" with girlfriends. Her writing style is so real it feels like your one of the characters.

I look forward to all the literature she puts out.

Jenny Colgan has written 4 books and her first 2 were in the style of Marian Keyes. Try them

I just finished angels- my first Marian Keyes novel- but certainly not my last. I realy enjoyed her style- how she wove the characters memories so seamlessly into the story was great.
If anyone out there actually lives in LosAngelos, please write - It simply CAN'T be as soulless as it seems....Can it?

I'm writing my thesis on the basis of Marian Keyes's novels.I'm mainly interested in popular women fiction as a self-help literature. Is it really possible to treat Marian's books as a kind of guide for modern women? Do they provide any kind of advice and help modern women to solve their problems or find answers to some nagging doubts or questions? Or maybe they can serve as a solace for somebody? Is there anyone who could share his opinion about this matter with me? Maybe Marian's books helped somebody in some way? Please contact me.My mail izaaaj84@yahoo.com
