I mean, I like it...but I dont take it as a prose...it has it's philosophy, thats true....but he is no writer from my point of view

Yes he is just not a great writer I use to agree with his philosophies. Because I to wanted to do Sadistic things and sexually perverted things to woman.I have been diagnosed with a Sexual disorder. I wanted to act those things out,his was merely an expression through writing alot like what I do. Though things are much different now, I don't want to be that way anymore. Lets just say he was my idol and my hero at one point and time.MILK and PINKY WAVE,SNIFF

When the Bastille was stormed to loose the prisoners in the French chokee were there not only two a pretender to the throne of France and a tired old letcher named marquis de sade. Riddled with pox and the terminal throes of syphlitic dementure .He must have looked a sad old sight. Poor man. I have not I confess done other than browse a poor translation of his works,in a second hand book shop, a multy volume set I was unwilling to open my wallet for, but one tends to read more of him than by him. I guess in his day he was stretching the envelope of consent. Often i wonder, were the brutal and bloodthirsty exploits of the revolutionaries any better than De Sades exploits presumably with consenting participants. Madam Guiolotine brooked no consent.thats for sure.

I like what Hunter Thompson said about De Sade: If he could have just kept his whippings down to 1 or 2 a week no one would have cared, but nooo.... You haven't lived until you hear Gregory Corso try and pronounce his name, though.
