Has anyone here actually read knife edge yet?
If so I wonder if you have any views on this...
Im a little confused as to the letter Callum wrote Sephy. Im not sure what Malorie Blackman is trying to portray. Is she trying to show how people can so easily sway their way of thinking just by what someone else can say or do? I mean I doubt him now even after being inside Callum's head, knowing his feelings for Sephy were very much real in Noughts and Crosses! I just am slightly confused as to why Callum screamed his love for Sephy before he was about to be hanged if he knew she would read the letter. Of course he might not have even written it and we may find out that Jack (the prison guard) was forced to hand the letter over to a mysterious person with a lot more authority who destroyed Callum's real letter and wrote the one Sephy got. By the way we find out if and if so, why he wrote the letter in the third and final book, "Checkmate." My money is on Sephy's dad as the mysterious person altough this seems a little too obvious!
