| Discussion: Lygia Fegundes Telles Another great writer from Brazil... Ms. Telles writes to capture the essence of the people of her country. She does this with both delicacy and barely concealed passion in her choice of words. I know I was not prepared for the shocking ending in "The Girl in the Photograph," but the telling of the story really did make this the logical conclusion.
